At the May 20th discussion following the regular meeting for worship, Alice Wald led the meeting in a discussion of North Carolina Yearly Meeting (Conservative)'s first Query on Meeting for Worship. The discussion let to the following sense:

"We yearn for that Living Silence in which we feel drawn together. Knowing each other in our similarities and differences deepens our experience of God within and among us."

Below is Query Two which is also under the heading: Meeting for Worship. It will be the focus for our Second Hour on First Day, June 17. Please join us if you are able.

Query Two: Are we faithful in our attendance at meetings for worship and are we careful not to disturb the spirit of the meeting by our late arrival? Is our behavior therein that of open submission to God in silent communion?
