World-renowned environmental leader Vandana Shiva, Ph.D., is a physicist, winner of the Right Livelihood ("alternative Nobel Prize") award, and Director of the Research Foundation on Science, Technology, and Ecology. She is also the author and editor of many books, including Earth Democracy, Water Wars, and Manifestos on the Future of Food and Seed. She is a leader in the International Forum on Globalization and the Slow Food Movement.
